​Rebecca J., classe 1979, nasce e cresce fra la città di Milano e le campagne lombarde. Dopo gli studi in campo artistico si è concentrata per diversi anni sulla narrativa, sperimentando punti di vista sempre diversi e distorcendo le prospettive, diventando architetto di mondi analoghi al nostro. Dalla pura astrazione della parola, il suo percorso è infine maturato ritrovando rifugio nell’espressione pittorica in cui, sin dal principio, l’artista ha cercato di ricreare un legame con se stessa e con la realtà che la circondava. Ancor ora le sue opere sono un tentativo di svelare la dimensione sognante che percepisce nel suo vivere quotidiano, i legami profondi che uniscono tutte le creature, gli avvenimenti, il passato al presente, cercando di svelare l’animo segreto che abita dietro all’apparente neutralità dei soggetti.

Rebecca J., born in 1979, was raised between the city of Milan and the Lombardy countryside. After studying Arts, she concentrated on narrative for several years, always experimenting with different points of view and distorting perspectives, becoming an architect of worlds similar to ours. From the pure abstraction of the word, her path finally matured, finding refuge in the pictorial expression in which, from the beginning, the artist tried to recreate a link with herself and with the reality that surrounded her. Even now her works are an attempt to reveal the dreamy dimension that she perceives in her daily life and the deep bonds that unite all creatures, events, as well as the link of the past to the present time, trying to reveal the secret souls that live behind an apparent subject neutrality.
